The Management of LAS S.r.l. has approved the use of:

  • an organisational and management system that guarantees the quality of all its products

WITH THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES

Environment

  • To minimise the impact of the company activities on the surrounding environment.
  • To prevent, reduce, control emissions of pollutants and the production of wastewater and waste, as much as possible.
  • To guarantee that waste is separated correctly and that wastewater and product waste are disposed of correctly.
  • To manage systems so as to optimise the consumption of pollutants, natural resources and energy resources, avoiding waste.

Quality

  • To satisfy the needs expressed and implied by clients in terms of:

- Product quality, guaranteeing that the product complies with the requirements expressed by or promised to the client and its compliance with the pertinent or applicable national, EC, and international technical standards.

- Service quality, guaranteeing clients the collaboration, technical skills and good practice needed to: supply products punctually; to offer the expected flexibility and in-house testing; to ensure fast interventions in the event of problems or complaints.

- Price quality, by reducing the direct and indirect costs of substandard products, that derive from inefficiency and errors, and which increase the final cost of the product.

- System quality, with a fast, punctual response to requests for technological or organisational updates, and working in conformity with the product certification requirements and processes requested by the client.

Health and Safety

  • To respect local, national and EC regulations and laws regarding the health and safety of workers.
  • To identify existing dangers to the safety and health of company employees, collaborators, suppliers and clients involved in company activities.
  • To suitably assess the risks resulting from the dangers that are present and which each person is exposed to.
  • To eliminate all the dangers or, wherever not possible, to minimise the risks, guaranteeing a suitable level of collective or individual protection for everyone.
  • To minimise risks to the health and safety of both in-house and external people, involved in company activities.
  • To sensitise all personnel so that all the prescribed regulations are adopted.

AND WITH THE FOLLOWING MANAGEMENT COMMITMENTS

  • To establish and spread the company policies on quality, the environment and on health and safety of all those who work in the company.
  • To identify and characterise the quality, environmental and health and safety objectives, evaluating them in an objective manner as much as possible, and intervening should they not be reached.
  • To plan and document an integrated management system, in which the procedures, methods and behaviour are aligned with the objectives; checking that these integrated system regulations are respected and are spread internally, thereby simplifying the general awareness and familiarisation with the adopted methods.
  • To monitor the national, EC and international regulations that are pertinent and applicable to the products and the company’s activities, privileging European directives and harmonised standards, and adequately enforce the requested compliance.
  • To adapt and keep the integrated system updated, according to the company’s development, the national and EC regulations and laws, and the available technology.

  • To communicate and sensitise all personnel to the importance of satisfying: client requirements, binding legal requirements concerning the environment, and binding legal requirements concerning the health and safety of workers.
  • To use human resources that are suitable and congruent in terms of number, skills, experience and awareness, with the company objectives.
  • To train (theoretical and practical training) and inform all people who work at the company about the quality risks, environmental pollution risks, the health and safety risks, and the relative prevention methods adopted by the integrated system.
  • To qualify and sensitise suppliers, for as long as necessary, on company objectives, involving them in the improvement process and ensuring that they adhere to the company policies.
  • To use production, computer and instrumental technologies that are suitable for and in line with the objectives indicated previously; furthermore, to use computer technologies that are useful for improving in-house efficiency, preventing errors or carelessness and reducing recordings on paper.
  • To objectively and continuously improve in the following areas: the health and safety of company employees, suppliers, collaborators, and of the populations that live near the company establishments; the correction of errors related to clients; the prevention of situations emerging that could hinder the achievement of the set quality, safety and environmental goals.
  • To monitor the results obtained, and identify the consequential interventions necessary to: improve the quality of the products and services offered to the client, minimise the environmental impact, and minimise the health and safety risks of all those who are exposed to danger.
